Biography


Jocie McKade is the author of over twenty books. Her fiction writing has received several awards for mystery and romcom books. Her non-fiction work has appeared in dozens of magazines, online blogs, and she is the Senior News Editor of Reader’s Entertainment News, a top blog for readers. 

Writing humorous cozy mysteries, and romantic comedy, Jocie can find humor in almost every inappropriate thing. She lives in the Midwest on Dust Bunny Farm with her family, and the world’s calmest Border Collie.

When not writing, she grows ArnoldSwartzaWeeds in her garden, and plots strategic military maneuvers against hostile dust bunnies.

I LOVE to travel. 

My family and I have visited 49 of our 50 states in an RV

I live on a small farm in the rural Midwest affectionately know as Dust Bunny Farm

My hubby and I have two amazing daughters, two really cool son-in-laws and five incredible grandkids (crap, I am that old)

Gardening is one of my passions.

I worked over 18 years as a librarian

I once had to be rescued by the Secret Service.
